I opt'd out of the beta testing an hour into it because I hated it. I think there is a way though :X Steam > Settings > "In-game" tab > Uncheck "Enable Steam Community In-Game" checkbox Hope it works Link to comment

It just means the overlay wont popup when I play source, but I still have to sign off. :] Half the time the overlay does popup still. Link to comment
