i have a set of z5500s too. Not sure why you thought a desk mic would work well with speakers, tbh.

 

And don't get 5.1 headset, they're gimmicky and a waste of money. just get a headset, but dont use it much. thats what i do.

Get a G35. Or some planetronics, I had a planetronics headset for 6 months and loved it every step but my idiot brother broke it. So I ordered a G35 due to the 7.1 and 2 year warranty.

un-cancel the mic order and just get a decent headset to go with it like I said in the other thread.

 

When you're not on vent use your speakers, but on vent use headset.
