Vista Ultimate x64 all the way. Seriously, there is nothing wrong with Vista. Anyone who says otherwise is just a wierdo.

If money weren't an issue, I would get 7. But, I don't feel like dropping 200 bucks for Vista Service Pack 3. Because in the end, that is all Windows 7 is.

I also use OS X Leopard on my 24" iMac, but only for multimedia stuff.

Care to explain why the OS I have never had any problems with since its release is so terrible?

Also, care to explain the benefits of 7 over Vista other than a different UI and very minimal optimizations for performance machines?

If you're using Windows 7 Pro / Ultimate you can also take a look at Windows XP Mode if the standard "Run in compatibility for..." doesn't work.
