Toxin Posted January 9, 2010 Content Count: 2115 Joined: 05/06/08 Status: Offline Share Posted January 9, 2010 (edited) Okay, I'm sure I'm not the only person that received this problem. Your Xbox 360 scratched any Disc that is currently in the system on the slightest movement. I was just playing with the Xbox on some hardwood floor, my brother walks runs by a bit rowdy and BAM "Your disk is unreadable." Anyone have any idea how to fix those? Those aren't deep at all, maybe .5mm deep, and my scratch is not even all around the disk like most of the time.. Done some research, blockbusters around my areas won't buff, I'm gonna have to wait tomorrow to call a local Game Shop, let's see if they do it.. Do you guys know any chain-brand stores that offer them (U.S. only please)? Also, according to , peanutbutter and toothpaste are supposed to work... along with carbonated water and baking soda.. I mean it seems to good to be true, and I'm not ready to put hygene products and food condiments on my $60 disc just yet... Edited January 9, 2010 by Toxin Link to comment

I take a eye glass cleaner cloth, then put some brass cleaner on it and rub it in slowly for about 10 minutes. I got my Dreamcast games to work that way Link to comment

Don't do this too often though on the same disc. While it does clean it / fill in the cracks (somewhat), the acids in the toothpaste start to damage the disc should you do it too much. I mean, there are like two million different varieties out there, you know, toothpaste with different chemicals, clear toothpaste, toothpaste with little sprinkles in the them etc. Link to comment
