trakaill Posted January 11, 2010 Content Count: 3736 Joined: 11/30/07 Status: Offline Share Posted January 11, 2010 .. the idiots that made my motherboard (dellsucks.com) decided to put the sata ports just east (behind) of the PCI express where my Video card is plugged in, four of them. This makes them quite useless unless you have angled cable..well here is the issue two of them are oriented the opposite way of the other 2 but I dont know which one is left and which is right. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812816031&cm_re=sata_right-_-12-816-031-_-Product http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812200112&cm_re=sata_left-_-12-200-112-_-Product The difference seems obvious ...but i have 2 angled cables that seemed to be opposite yet when I plugged them in it didnt help.. So anybody has a clear explanation on how to easily differentiate them? Quick SATA guide for dummi Dell is retarded.. Link to comment
