ReGIONALS Posted January 12, 2010 Content Count: 1844 Joined: 07/27/08 Status: Offline Share Posted January 12, 2010 you need to make like a 20 gb allocation (or what ever is large enough to accommodate linux) and install linux to that allocation and whenever u wanna run Linux you need to change the primary boot device, im sure theres other ways like installing it and you choose what you run at startup 1 Link to comment
Jager Posted January 12, 2010 Content Count: 1300 Joined: 06/24/07 Status: Offline Share Posted January 12, 2010 with multiboot partitions when the computer starts as long as both hard drives are connected the pc "should" ask you which OS you wish to boot from. if that option isnt there then you should be able to make it create that option by setting both harddrives to be masters on their channels or on separate sata controllers. depending on flavor of linux you may also be able to create a boot manager yourself to use to decide which os to boot to. 1 Link to comment
