Case Modding

Alright, I currently am in the process of modding my computer case with some lights fans etc, and I was wondering if anyone else on these forums has any part of their computer case modded, or even your desk, room etc.

 

My project:

 

So so far I got a new Blue LED fan in, and put that bad boy in and it is bright as hell lol, just today I also got my Purple cold cathode lights. If you are wondering wtf that is, it is like a tube with a light in it, they come in all sorts of colors but when i got mine there was only purple and it was on sale for like 0.99 so you can go wrong with that. The ones I got are sound activated so they blink to the music I have playing over my speakers.

 

What I want to do?:

 

I am in the process of getting some things together to build a new custom computer desk with some lights and shit in it, also I will be making a stand for my comp monitors with cathode lights under/behind it so it back lights my monitor. I am also buying some more cold cathode lights for my case so I can pimp out my case. I am also looking for some cool USB things like desk lights etc, so if you find some let me know =). I have also seen like a hose time LED light thing, that is flexible and can go around desk's speakers etc, I still have to find those.

 

 

So yea, that is my plan for my case, now I want to know what you guys have done to mod your case, post pictures if you have them =)

I am actually going to do that, I was looking at a computer case the other day, cheap as hell and I was going to trace a logo into the side panel and cut it out =D. Ill let you guys know if I do that, I may even sell it =) I just need a new plexy glass cutting blade thing lol

Im actually in the process of cutting my case panel to make a window..and Im leaving the dell logo which I think will look pretty cool..I havent put any lights in there yet..and I dont really know what to put..but Ill figure something

go to home depot get a like 32 by 20 piece of acrylic and a hand held plexy cutting blade u just cut it deep enough to break it on your knee and its cheap those 2 things should cost around 15$.

 

 

 

 

i recently got a full panel put on my antec 1200 and it looks sexy.

 

 

 

what color were your old fans? if they were red how much will you sell them for.
