Tweezy Posted January 14, 2010 Content Count: 3791 Joined: 08/08/09 Status: Offline Share Posted January 14, 2010 Do you have a system restore point? If so try booting up a restore point, if that doesn't help the only thing i can recommend is defragging ur harddrive, then restarting. Hope this helps' ~Tweezy Link to comment
Jager Posted January 14, 2010 Content Count: 1300 Joined: 06/24/07 Status: Offline Share Posted January 14, 2010 defragging isnt going to help anything, but the system restore might. try this for me, open taskmanager and watch these two areas at the bottm. first is cpu usage, is it pegged at 100% when you are seeing issues? also next to that is the commit charge, should look like xxx/xxxx is the first number near the number after the slash? if either is yes, you have something that is taking up all of the system resources it can, and i recommend you hold f8 when the computer is restarting to get into safemode and run anti virus/antispyware scans. if neither the cpu usage or the commit charge are near 100% then still scan for viruses/spyware, and if problem persists then system restore. Thanks but where is this Commit Charge? My CPU Usage was in between 1-30% all the time. (it only went past ten when i was scrolling the page...) P.S. If you guys want to know when this happened it was sometime between 9:30 PM Jan. 12 (when I got off) and 5:00 PM Jan. 13 (when I got home.) Edited January 14, 2010 by Lordcrazy Link to comment
