Finzz Posted January 15, 2010 Content Count: 464 Joined: 09/23/07 Status: Offline Share Posted January 15, 2010 So I bought x64 bit Vista and it came with a free Windows 7 x64 upgrade disc that I had to order for free. Anyway I was wondering if it is worth it to install it? I have a feeling that my wireless card won't work with it and then I won't be able to revert back to my Vista. Does OEM mean you can only install it once? ever? I have also heard steam and its games don't like windows 7 very much, let alone Vista...:ohwell: Link to comment

That 7 upgrade disc if it is the same as mine you could buy CD keys from Wrathek and install it on as many computers as you want!! Thats what I did for this one I bought the student "upgrade" disc when I realized it was only an upgrade I asked Wrathek for a key and in the end I paid 45 bucks for Win7 pro AND I LOVE IT!! and you could re use that same key if you disconnect the first computer from the internet I think but this might be wrong! If I don't like it (which I don't think will happen) I can always put the OEM Vitsa back on. Link to comment
Jager Posted January 16, 2010 Content Count: 1300 Joined: 06/24/07 Status: Offline Share Posted January 16, 2010 windows 7 can use vista drivers if it has to to use devices, so you shouldnt have hardware support issues if your hardware worked in vista. assuming you are using the same 32 or 64 bit vista to windows 7 upgrading.
