Finzz Posted January 17, 2010 Content Count: 464 Joined: 09/23/07 Status: Offline Share Posted January 17, 2010 (edited) Found this cool little program called Vista Anti-Lag, It only uses 3Mb of ram and almost no cpu usage. About every 30 seconds, Vista checks for available connection points, which can make you lagg for about 0.5-1 seconds and it can get irritating. Here is the download, no installation needed, just save it and run the VAL icon. http://vista-anti-lag.software.informer.com/download/ +rep plz 1 Edited January 19, 2010 by Finzz Link to comment

I think this might happen on Windows 7, I find myself having random lag spikes when playing PB, but then again it could just be my sister streaming videos. Link to comment

I will let you guys know, I just switched to Windows 7 and I will try not running the program, but it will have to wait until this weekend because I have exams and I won't be on my wireless-vista computer. So in the meantime someone else could try. Link to comment

Same thing as you described in original post, doesn't even require a program. It won't let you select the router you connect to,but it will automatically connect to the default network, so typically this isn't a problem at all. 1 Link to comment
