Official Freekilling Question Thread

I thought this would be a good place to ask in an appropriate manner if you experienced a freekill, whether or not it was legal or not.

 

Please don't ask stupid questions like, I was shooting at a CT and another CT shot me and killed me. Obviously, you were rebelling.

 

Also, please do not state who committed the kill on you, as it is not necessary and could only create issues.

 

My question is:

 

If you have a secondary weapon unholstered and are not aiming at anyone (say for this case, I was aiming it at a box... is that ok for a CT to kill me without a warning shot or them asking me to drop it?

I think if there was gunfire, from your direction, with the sound of your pistol (pistols are usually distinct) then if you are killed for having your pistol out... It's really your fault for having it out and not dropping it.

I'm not sure whether or not they have to ask before shooting when you're holding it, but just keep it holstered and you won't have that problem.

You have a weapon out, so yes, you are technically a legitimate target and threat for the CT's.

 

If you weren't aiming at anyone, I would give you the courtesy of asking you to drop it unless shit was going down (if I am in a nice mood at the time). If T's were trying to revolt at or near the same time, I would probably shoot you right away.

 

If you had the weapon out without being ordered to drop it or allowed to mess around with it, you aren't up to anything good and I wouldn't expect someone to let me live for doing the same thing.

Yeah, there might have been some action going on near or around me. I don't exactly remember, but that all makes sense. Just getting clarification. Thanks for the responses.

- CT's must give and explain reasonable rules.

- CT's are not allowed to kill prisoners unless they are not complying with the rules given.

- CT's must warn T's who have holstered pistols.

- CT's are not allowed to plant guns on prisoners, no exceptions.

- CT's can kill T's who are in vents without being warned.

- CT's cannot enforce the same rules round after round.

- CT's are not required to give Last Request.

- Respect admins and other players or get banned!!!!

- No spamming of any kind (voice or chat).

- No racism of any kind will be tolerated (including racist names/sprays).

- No advertising other servers or clans and do not evade mute by rejoining.

- Admins can deem any spray they think unfit bannable from the server.

-Warning shots must be given when a pistol is holstered.

 

You had it out. It's not freekilling. Unless of course, you were just dropping it.

lol its stupid cause i ct told me to drop my holstered gun so i got it out ready to drop it BANG im dead. Reason for killing: You unholstered the gun.

also : some ct's will kill you if you have a toy gun out and it won't be a freekill

If you had a pistol why were you wasting it by aiming at a box? If you're not gonna rebel with it at least give it to someone who will rebel.

And for the record, I was probably close to rebelling. For some reason I thought it was ok to point it a box, haha.

 

But seriously. My question has been answered. I didn't make this thread to bitch about me dying, I made this thread for people to answer any questions if they feel they were freekilled or not.

what if T's are told to go to say, showers, and stay in showers, but then I look out the door of showers, while still keeping both feet in the showers. then I get killed. even though I was still well within showers but just looking out the door.
