They have been up but I have specific problems with uploading maps atm, so until that gets fixed I can't add it. It is uploaded into FD just not the PB server itself. Spartan Posted February 9, 2010 Content Count: 4550 Joined: 06/05/08 Status: Offline Share Posted February 9, 2010 I'm not sure if you have fully tested this map, but I found a few problems with this map. 1) Did you even attempt to optimize this map? By this I mean, add nodraw to outside texture of every wall. This reduces the map size. At the moment, its 52mb. 52 mb??? That's a staggering amount considering how long it will take to download, and not to mention its only a pb map. Paul's mg map with like 14 maps with music was like 61mb or something. Think about optimizing it a bit. 2) The 'bunny' model in the high/low card type game, showed as an error for me. Not sure if it did for anyone else. There was also an error model in the pit, or some kinda hole in the ground. 3) Some of the textures were leaked into the 'void' E.G. A railing on one side is not there, and instead makes your camera lag out. 4) Some of the buttons did not work as well, but again I'm not sure if this just was just me. Perhaps you have too much in the map... 5) The ladder that lowers down to the knife fight square area; why does it move? I think you need to tick the box in 'flags' that disables it moving. 6) There's a couple spelling mistakes in places. Overall the map's fine, albeit a bit big. The lightning needs to be improved a bit as well. The problems above would make the map look professional at least if fixed. Link to comment

As i said its just a beta, and i wanted to see some play b4 i fixed that stuff, Ive worked on the map for over a year with out playing on it. The stuff that interest me is you saying that my textures leaked out into the void? i detected no leaks in the map. If you could be more specific about this, maybe include a pic so i know what to fix. Also i spent alot of time optimizing this map, my frame rate seems good and only drops in one or 2 spots, everywhere no draw could be used it was, as well as portals hints and such. Also you say some buttons dont work, exactly what buttons are you talking about? All the buttons should work but i did go slighty over entity data limit (100.3% i belive) so its possible. Actually now that I think about it you were prlly talking about disco right? Disco is a pretty bugged because like I said, I tried to put to many custom files into the map, so pakrat just dropped most of the music files and some of the textures. All of these problems are just cosmetic, so I went ahead and released it for beta testing, as I really need to test out how the map actually plays, so I can know what to fix gameplay wise. The ladder you speak of is actually a door, and its supposed to make sure ppl stay in the pit once in. There is a secret way out as well as the "pussy out" buttons that tele you to the pussy box and heal you, its quite possible that you could not see the textures above the buttons as it may have been one of the broken textures. So all that being said, can I expect to see some testing? Or do i need to fix my textures and song files before its added? Oh yeah one more thing, you said that the map was a bit big. Did you notice that half the map stays locked most of the time? 1 in 4 chance that the main side of the map locks itself and the other side opens up, soccer day! This all happens at the start of the round, so the 2 parts of the map are never open at the same time.
