Name issue

Hey guys at SteamGamers

 

I had a quick question about my name.. As you probably know now my chosen in game name is Kraka. Earlier i was playing on the minigame server and was asked by an admin to change it because it has racial connotations. i, of course, did this right away. i want to know whether or not it does in fact break the rules regarding racist names. I am not doing this to dispute anything but the admin that told me to change my name may not have been the highest authority. Furthermore, i want to make it clear that my name is not meant to be offensive. i am actually white myself. So if someone who has proper authority can tell me if i will continue to need to change my name on all sg servers that would be appreciated. Thanks

I haven't heard the word "kraka" before. I don't think it has got to do with racism. However, your name's fine.

I think someone pronounced it the way you would "Cracker" which can carry racist connotations. If that isn't the intention then I don't see a problem with Kraka.
