It looks like a shitty way to get even more money out of their users. Mac. Go figure. It's exactly the fucking same as an iPod Touch. I guarantee it's more expensive. The only difference is the screen is bigger. And what the fuck? No flash support? That instantly fails the product, especially since the number one complaint about the iPod Touch was about no flash support. This is just a piece of shit made to wring the money out of Macintard users. (Yeah, Macintard. I win.)

Yeah, huge ripoff. It's a cool idea. But Mac failed at it. When a Windows 7 tablet comes out that doesn't fail so much, I may get it just to have some fun.

Wait, so theres a difference between having a full functional laptop screen on your lap with a thousand more options and possibilities than having a little screen on your lap that can't do half of what the prior could do? The only difference in what your saying would be the keys and mouse, which TBH is more of a bonus than disadvantage.

 

Solely for browsing the internet and other remedial tasks like checking email, I would MUCH rather use the iPad... But I don't ever "just" browse the internet, and I never check email lol.

I would say when this comes out you will see a price cut for the iTouch. So it's a win win for every one. All the Apple Lovers with go buy their iTampon, and people that just want a nice iPod can get a Touch for cheaper.

To be honest, the alternatives in the other link I posted in the thread are probably going to be much more powerful and more useful. They will probably more cost efficient, the iPad has a monthly data plan you have to pay for along with other things. It's essentially paying another phone bill, but the iPad doesn't support calling.

Fujistu Sylistic tablet's have been shipped with onscreen keyboards and a complete OS for years now. Giving far more features and capability than the iTampon ever will. (Granted at a much higher price)

 

The only good thing that I can see coming from this is a netbook Win7 version may be developed as competition. That I might consider buying.
