I think its based on historical claims and I am fairly sure WRXs get crashed more than BMWs. Link to comment

Was on the highway when my blazer died and it ended up having all those go out at once. Only had it for a few months and it's living up to being a money pit lol. Link to comment

I got one that had some issue (I think the engine) that no one got around to fixing. It's a nice sized car if your a smaller guy. I don't have much experience with it besides that though.
