Earthquake! In my Room!

Lol, UK had a earthquake earlier this morning at around 01:03 AM (GMT), wondered who else was affected by the quake.

 

I shit myself, thought it was a hurricane/ tornado or something

 

My glass of milk went all over the fucking floor! Had to clean it up at 1 am >.

 

Anyways, was a good experience to have tbh, felt wierd.

An earthquake? What part of England are you in?

Yorkshire, the earthquakes epicenter was in Market Raison, Lincolnshire and I live in Doncatser, Yorkshire. But the quakes were felt as far as Newcastle( where henda lives) all the way down to Bangor in Wales and london.

Heard about it in the news this morning - it's rather scary really, and they predict it to be more common in the future.

Not much damage, few broken chimny pots and roof tiles.

One person got hit with a chimny pot, but no deaths atm.

I just got into bed, then 10 minutes later, the quake hit for 10-15 secs and rattled my glass off.

A friend of mine from England messaged me about this last night. He thought someone had bombed them and looked outside his window expecting to see a flash. He saw none and went right back to bed.

 

Gotta love the English.
