Tweezy Posted January 30, 2010 Content Count: 3791 Joined: 08/08/09 Status: Offline Share Posted January 30, 2010 omfg, just brought my new HD5750, runs Dirt 2 perfectly, i step in css, and my FPS drops down to 15 when i'm on fire, which means i lagg. (Zombie escape) My average FPS is around 100, but I've never gotten over 200... Wtf is up guys? My old Nvidia 8500GT was running css with maxed out FPS on maxed out graphical settings... Im really pissed off, what a waste of £110... Heres my directX report if u need it. Link to comment
TNT Posted January 30, 2010 Content Count: 441 Joined: 04/07/09 Status: Offline Share Posted January 30, 2010 (edited) Type these commands in console: cl_cmdrate 101 cl_updaterate 101 rate 30000 fps_max 300 That should fix your lag. Edited January 30, 2010 by TNT Link to comment
Tweezy Posted January 30, 2010 Content Count: 3791 Joined: 08/08/09 Status: Offline Share Posted January 30, 2010 (edited) rates won't do anything, css is still the same since i gt new gcard -_- I've already tried fps_max 300. It's weird, im running around with a shit 110 FPS on zombie escape, get hit by a nade, set alight and FPS drops to 13... And i lagg -_-. Edited January 30, 2010 by Tweezy Link to comment
Jager Posted January 30, 2010 Content Count: 1300 Joined: 06/24/07 Status: Offline Share Posted January 30, 2010 you need to check your drivers and either update to the lasted ati, or see if the ones you are using are source compatible. not all are, and many manufactures aren't checking older compatibility like ATI oem is.
