i'd like to give this a try, simply because i hate it when i'm ct & 4 terrorists just keep running around on their freeday doing absolutely nothing

however, i think we risk now to get some kind of deathgame server in stead of prisonbreak server ... (depends on ct ofcourse)

so perhaps we could bind some rules to this ...

for example:

no deathgames before 3:00 (unless t's accept) or something alike ...

just to prevent that ct's start deathgaming from the start till the end so they get alot of kills :blink1:

& since it's a trial i'd say hell yeah try it ... how else would we really know either it's something good or not :thumb:

edit: i dunno bout this s4s ... it seems more like a last request than a deathgame ... i don't like giving t's guns during the round ...

Unless you have reliable admins on 24/7, the CT's are going to quabble over who decides the deathgame, what the exact rules are, who dies, etc.

Let's see why things may get boring for CT's. Round after round, the general rules are for T's to stay in their cells until they are allowed to leave (cell doors open within a minute, the order to stay inside cells is given before or after cells opening, T's wait up to several minutes before CT's find a good camping spot). Many times, T's are forced to sit ad stare at a wall for the entire length of the round. The CT's might call a freeday, but it only occurs with only a minute or less remaining and turns into a turkey shoot. Hell, the freedays are limited to specific rooms or areas of a map.

Some people are mislead in thinking that the T's deserve to be killed off easier to the enjoyment of the CT's. They can pretend the T's enjoy deathgames, but the simple fact of the matter is that not all of them do. The CT's, given the chance, are going to go round after round proclaiming a death game because some impatient twat wants to shoot T's as soon as possible. Again, it would be CT's arguing with CT's over whether a death game is played or conventional orders are given.

If you want to spice things up, why don't you try giving better orders instead of jerking off in a corner with an AWP praying that one pulls out a gun and starts shooting. You might also want to try joining the T's and trying your luck at rebelling if you're so goddamned bored.

Just keep it the way it is now. If the T's want to participate in deathgames, then it is fine. They should be mandatory if a CT orders it so.

If enough people want to try it out and it stays, then at the very least, death games should not be done round after round (create MOTD rule). You don't want to turn the Prison Break server into the Infinite Death Game server. That's what we got Minigames and Death Run for.

I totally agree on this, deathgames are fun but ct's sooner or later will abuse to kill as many t's as they can, make the motd rules and maybe a system for these games, a menu for the ct's that only one ct can give the orders in the deathgame, a warden who is the only person who can give orders at that time, so that takes care of the conflicting orders.

Italian this is some good stuff, i hope such a system will be on the servers soon, or at least make it a test run, to see if it's not abusable.

deathgames are what make rounds interesting, its boring when CT's say, go to pool, go to solitaray or wherever and then no one rebels or has a shot of rebelling and we end up sitting in one place for the rest of the round

This servers prisoners rebel too much. For example the guy who is making the deathgame (ct ofc) dies= All Ts say freeday and if some ct kills because they left the deathgame area, it's a "freekill".

NOT FOR THIS SERVER!

the CT could of stayed away from the big cage.

I started playing jailbreak WITH DEATHGAMES, then I started seeing stupid server not having them and I'm like WTF! And it's true, there is nothing to absolutly do when there is a freeday and you have no weapon. Then I go to a death chamber and kill myself cause its more fun then being bored running around for nothing.

I disagree with this. There is a place and time when deathgames are fun, but that should always be based on if T's want to play. Not if CT's are bored and don't want to give good orders.

If it's a freeday and there are 4 T's running around doing nothing. Then send them someplace that there is maybe a gun located at or revoke there freeday. Stick them in solitary all round during the next round for doing jack shit.

I agree with everything Italian said. The DG's would be abused and there would never be time to rebel anymore.

I say keep it the way it is. Death games should be optional based on T's approval. CT's should start giving better rules and stop camping in a one-way entry with a AWP. That is what's boring.

No. Deathgames will "spice up the gameplay". Do what IJ said: Stop giving monotonous orders and sitting with an awp in a vent/on a roof. Go T for a change or give some new, fun orders. I dont know why people seem to think that all orders HAVE to be go to point A and try to rebel while we watch all exits with awps M4s. Seriously, the power is in all of your hands to better PB, but you hypocritical people that want change but wont do anything to do it seem to think that only a new rule or a new mod can change the server.
