Here is an idea,

We should get a script for the Prison Break server that mutes the terrorist team for a certain amount of time, say 5-7 seconds, so the CTs can give orders without the ts yelling

FREEDAY

WHY DID YOU FREEKILL ME

JKAGFDGAGHAKLAGAAGHAFJK

I personally have a bind that mutes the whole T team when it gets to a certain volume. If it is just one person I mute them individually.

So what do you think?

Script, yes or no?

T's talking in the beginning of the round can confuse and delay CT's for a bit (helpful if one T is already out of cells). If a CT is preoccupied with trying to get orders across, that T can start killing off some CT's.

You can type out orders if you need to or still announce them. It rarely occurs where the T team constantly talks and ignores the CT orders. What usually happens is that the T's stop for a bit to clarify what the orders were. If one individual gets killed, who cares? They can ask what the orders were. I haven't seen multiple T's die because they didn't know the orders due to their team talking or spamming in the beginning.

Couldnt say it better myself, it is a tactic T's can use. If a admin needs to if the T's are alittle too crazy then they can, but there is no need to do it at the beginning of every round just because you have to talk over 1-2 T's.

Here is the thing, all of the maps that we do play on the server 98% of the time is razor and it is very very easy to rebel on that map or any other map. This gives CTs the ability to have SOME chance to prevent a major rebellion. This also might bring CTs out from camping round after round after round.

I've seen respectable amounts of T wins and CT wins that included T's talking at the beginning. The CT's that get their act together and actually control the T's can usually win the round. Ordering them to be silent for the orders works wonders and typing gives irrefutable evidence that an order was placed. Don't let the T's dictate what the CT's need to do.

Nothing will stop them from camping.

Also, if you are asking for a timed script, what happens if the CT's don't give orders in the time the T's were muted? The T's would still be able to talk/annoy the CT's and many times, orders take a while to be given (unless they are typed orders bound to a key). The problem still exists and having the T's muted for a lengthy period of time is unrealistic.

Yes true, CTs will have to use common sense and realize that the Ts are muted for a certain amount of time so they can ramble out orders and there will be no confusion when people couldn't hear, understand, or some other reason with multiple people talking all at the same time. I, myself, in the PB server mute the Ts and from the new players they give a WTF but I then tell the CTs to give orders and then I count 10 seconds and unmute them. So far there has been no confusion or anything and the CT team has been winning a fair amount of times. Unfortunately we do get retarded CTs who yell when other CTs are giving the orders. It is based on the intelligence of the players.
