I would like to be able to make stuff like the pictures below, but i just need some tutorial or something to get me started so i can figure out more on how to do it. The site for it http://www.samurize.com/modules/news/ http://www.steam-gamers.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1095&page=48 Edited February 10, 2010 by cj18 Link to comment
SchmoSalt Posted February 6, 2010 Content Count: 494 Joined: 08/23/09 Status: Offline Share Posted February 6, 2010 I downloaded it and messed around with it for about 15 minutes. Looked around for some good skins but couldn't find any download sections. If a desktop-related customization takes more than 15 minutes, I probably won't end up doing it. Seems like it would be pretty nice though if you put the time and effort into it. Link to comment

Shadowex3 Posted February 6, 2010 Content Count: 2959 Joined: 02/27/08 Status: Offline Share Posted February 6, 2010 I use a flat blue desktop background. I've never had to look at it long enough to bother with anything fancier. Link to comment

jazzy Posted February 8, 2010 Content Count: 2187 Joined: 06/28/09 Status: Offline Share Posted February 8, 2010 I used Rainmeter and that one thing at one time, was just pretty much boring, i usually don't focus on my desktop. Infact I usually have Chrome or CS:S open 24/7 to be looking at my desktop. Link to comment
Shadowex3 Posted February 8, 2010 Content Count: 2959 Joined: 02/27/08 Status: Offline Share Posted February 8, 2010 Since this has turned into a generic windows-expansion thread: I use UltraMon to manage both screens seperately and slap a decent working taskbar on the other screen. Link to comment
