It won't matter that much at all, unless your running really high demanding games like maybe, GTA4, Crysis, ArmA 2 etc. 1 Link to comment

Like eversman said, makes a difference on high demanding games, however I found that using a 1GB card definetely boosted my tf2 performance by a lot, which was really great. However I don't have that 1GB card (sold it and got a cheaper one ) 1 Link to comment

Dont expect to be able to max any of those games on 1920x1080 and have a playable framerate, the gtx 260m is the desktop equivalent of a 9800GT, hurray for nvidia naming schemes. Link to comment

Sorry to have to correct you, but you are waayyyyyyyy off. It's more like a 9400GT. Link to comment

Mobile series are always weaker than their desktop counterparts, theres a reason why laptops can be so thin, one of them being smaller and weaker graphics card, this specific card you can read about here: http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-260M.14559.0.html Link to comment
trakaill Posted February 13, 2010 Content Count: 3736 Joined: 11/30/07 Status: Offline Share Posted February 13, 2010 (edited) yeah I knew that but I didnt know where you got your comparison to the 9800 GTX..now I do.. And it does have slightly better clock speed..so its slightly better than a 9800GT..so im incline to say better thn a 9400... Edited February 17, 2010 by trakaill Link to comment
