ColdWar Posted February 8, 2010 Content Count: 283 Joined: 01/27/10 Status: Offline Share Posted February 8, 2010 the laptop i have now i bought in late summer of 2007 for a pretty penny. its got decent equipment in it, but things seem to become outdated very quickly in the computer world, and mostly with laptops, you can't replace individual hardware. it came with 2 Geforce Go 7950 GTX vid cards running in SLI mode. last time i had to format my hard drive, i immediately started having problems with running both cards so i disabled one. i didnt notice the slightest bit of performance drop in CS after i just started using one card. my question is does anyone have any experience with these geforce go cards? and since they are actual cards and not a part of the motherboard, can i use them in a desktop if i get one anytime soon? also, does windows 7 support SLI mode? at first, vista didnt and i never checked back to see if it did, so im still running XP on this thing Link to comment
