Google is also getting into the Social Network thing. If you have a Gmail account you will see a new tab. They are doing a twitter like thing, and going to roll out some Facebook type stuff.

Yeah it's called Google Buzz.

Anyway, tbh guys, i'd hate the burst the bubble of google fanboyism in this thread but there is the slight problem that Google will most likely be having bandwidth caps, along with doing deep packet inspection. :/

also, deep packet inspection pretty much means it's google search privacy all over again, they're going to comb the fuck through what you do on the internet, as usual.

OHSHI- Google, what will you do now? First you pwn Apple, now you're destroying ISPs. ^^

I just bought an 3GS and I have yet to see anybody with the new google phone...as of people with the G1 Ive seen very few.. Most apple users still use safari and not chrome, I think you are getting ahead of yourself here..Google is still and will alway remain a search engine... their browsers is better than others but thats..Ive never tried safari so I would not know...

Google hasn't got close to doing anything to Apple..

yo with them not ever deleting information from Google usage and collaborating with the government, I can see the internet services run by them a bit strict.

but you can't argue with 1 Gb/s connections.

insane in the membrane.

its not 1gb/s, its 1 gigabit per second, one byte is 8 bits. The only reason they use the bit numbers is to make it larger.

It's actually only 125mb/s, which is fast indeed, but ive heard there has been 256mb/s. Not for the public anyway.

that's why i lowercased the b.

if it was GB/s then that's gigabytes. lowercased is bits. i know, i'm A+
