Nobody has given a good enough reason, in my opinion, on why this should not be fixed. I keep hearing that yelling will occur...like that doesn't happen right now? Yelling happens at the beginning of the round when CTs are trying to give orders. No wonder why people are complaining about warning shots and freekilling so much because they can't hear at the beginning of the round because everyone is screaming why they got freekilled and what not.

 

Then their is the argument of "bitching" in death chat. People just bitch at the beginning of the round anyway so this would get peoples bitching out of the way.

 

Personally this death chat would be a lot better I don't understand why we don't at least try it and see how it goes. What can it hurt to put it on for a few days or a week or something and see how it goes. If it fails take it off. This won't cause any harm so I say test it.

Since it was already bumped, I will point out that they wont change what isn't game breaking. This is not a game breaking problem, regardless of what may or may not be better, don't fix what isn't broken.

Let the dead talk to dead only in chat. There is no reason for people to be unable to talk while dead.

i think when you die the alive players should be muted to the dead only so the dead can chat with the dead on mic/chat...

 

like if you were alive the dead couldnt hear what your saying on the mic...

 

and if you were alive you wouldnt be able to hear the dead or see the dead's chat.

Actually it can be game breaking. If people get their complaints out of the way in death chat before the round starts less people might die because they might actually be able to hear the commands by the CTs at the beginning of the round.

 

Overall the majority thinks this is a good idea so I don't see why this shouldn't at least be thought about being added.

 

All I am suggesting is test it out..if it fails then take it off and we can all be ok and let it go. But for now I feel like this should be added and it would make the game better.

 

Jihad Mod isn't a game breaking change but still they added it.

 

PB Skins weren't game breaking either but they added those also.

Well, take it to the suggestions forum and give it a shot there, but bumping this thread for an eternity probably wont get any progress.
