If you want to record a css video, do it the old fashion way

I use Freecorder http://applian.com/sound-recorder/ to record sounds from videos and stuff and mitter http://mitter.jp/tools for online videos.

 

These both are for online streaming music and videos but you can use freecorder to record sounds from videos on your computer.

I'm not sure how good it is, but Xfire comes with video recording software if you're trying to record in-game. http://www.Xfire.com

It is good if you just record a demo and run this when you play the demo because it is a fps killer.
