If I donate right now, will I be accepted, and is there any chance I can upgrade to admin later? Just asking to be sure!

If you donate, you are automatically going to be a supporter. (Whenever they get around to adding you - that is, could be a few days.)

 

You do not need to be a supporter to apply for admin though - if you want to do that, just click on the forms at the top left, and look for Admin Application.

I became SG-A 5 weeks ago and wednesday i'm going to donate ;)

You don't have to donate to become admin, but there are some hints to become one:

 

Hints in becoming SA / SG-A

Of course you don't need it if you just want to become an Member of Regular
