And if you can tell the difference, is it worth the extra space it takes up? My guess is probably not, especially for portable players that you listen to outside with background noise anyway, unless you have like $200+ headphones. (I guess I should assume it does, though.) You can tell the difference between higher qualities of encoding. For me, the longer download, and larger file makes it not worth it, because really, it's not that big of a difference. If you've really got time & room to waste, I don't see why not.
