The 128 bitrate vs 256 wont make that much of difference but 256 is better on the 4800.. but the clock of the 5770 is greater better for gaming.. i didnt realised they had 5770 that cheap.. plus the 5770 has dx11 support.. If you can afford its a great card!! get it!! Link to comment

What about a gaming keyboard, mouse and mousepad for under 60ish if possible? I've been told to get this: Mouse Keyboard Mousepad But it is wayy over my budget. Link to comment

What about a gaming keyboard, mouse and mousepad for under 60ish if possible? I've been told to get this: Mouse Keyboard Mousepad But it is wayy over my budget. well... In the deal section they had a super sale on the G9 ($40 vs $99) which is an AWESOME mouse!!!!!!! I currently have a G5 (which is awesome) and it will be obsolete as I took advantage of the deal... If you dont want to spend that much on the death adder on the G9 I could give you a deal on my G5 I guess... Im only upgrading cause Ive been wanting a G9 for a while On paper the G9 rips the death adder apart btw... TBH I do not like razer products much cause Ive read tons and tons of review saying they are cheaply built and break easy or do not perform as well as advertised.. now this is my personal opinion based on my reading Read reviews on the Arctosa but I wanted the lycosa and its known to attract dust and finger prints and again Ive read about poor construction.. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ImageGallery.aspx?CurImage=23-114-008-S02&SCList=23-114-008-S01,23-114-008-S02,23-114-008-S03&S7ImageFlag=2&Item=N82E16823114008&Depa=0&WaterMark=0&Description=RAZER%20RZ03-00181400-R3U1%20Black%20USB%20Wired%20Standard%20Lycosa%20Mirror%20Special%20Edition%20Gaming%20Keyboard If there is one thing I guess I would really recommend from their gaming line is their mouse pad I havent had a chance to own but Ive seen it and heard so many great things about it it seems pretty awesome. But I do not feel this is must have accessory Logitech is just awesome as far as hardware goes For the keyboard I have a G11 which is great but is HUGE (not produced anymore).. if you want an illuminated kb you dont have much choice at low cost.. The saitek eclipse II has good reviews but every single one of them complains about the silver coating fading of and the keys becoming unreadable as well as gunks building very easily on the keys.. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823175103&cm_re=saitek_keyboard-_-23-175-103-_-Product Ive already told you my take on the lycosa That leaves you with logitech they have a new version of the G11 the G110 http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keyboards/keyboard/devices/5902&cl=us,en It seems pretty awesome but again expensive but the same as the lycosa and big The G15 and G19 are even bigger and more expensive I personally would not get them unless I had unlimited space and money.... If you want non illuminated you have a lot of choice but if I were you Id stick to logitech I personally had a bad experience with Microsoft keyboards Here is a compact KB which seems nice I havent tried it http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keyboards/keyboard/devices/5759&cl=us,en its small two things I could see be issues: small size making some function hard to access using FN keys and its small size allowing it to move around while gaming Only the madia keys are backlit so nay http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keyboards/keyboard/devices/4740&cl=us,en This is their illuminated non gaming version so obviously smaller than the G110 and prolly great but again 79 bucks http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keyboards/keyboard/devices/2996&cl=us,en This is not backlit but its cheap and it would work and its a nice size ^my pick for you BUT I really enjoy my illuminated G11 I would not go back to non illuminated keyboards You can prolly find stuff cheaper on Ebay but be careful of who you buy from Amazone's illuminated KB http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Delectronics&field-keywords=illuminated+keyboard&x=0&y=0 I gave you advice on the most known brands but other brands like OCZ, coolermaster make mice and keyboards.. so you can look into that but again Im not sure about quality Though this mouse seems pretty awesome http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826570005&nm_mc=OTC-Froogle&cm_mmc=OTC-Froogle-_-Mouse-_-Cooler+Master-_-26570005 Here this is some reading to make you NOT regret your choice on the i5 750 its obviously one of the best CPUs out there for the money!! really the step just bellow the i7 920 Enjoy it!!! http://www.anandtech.com/cpuchipsets/showdoc.aspx?i=3634&p=14 Also did you think about a headset??? or do you have one this is important for gaming too Edited March 26, 2010 by trakaill Link to comment

Do you watch DVD's on there?? If not why have one??? Gaming is much better with a headset and surround headset are not good in my book...shadow has been over why multiple times!! So not necessary!!! Shadowex3 Posted March 27, 2010 Content Count: 2959 Joined: 02/27/08 Status: Offline Share Posted March 27, 2010 Mobos have onboard 7.1 surround nowadays anyway thanks to Realtek. You've got a good core Tox, hold off for a while and add peripherals over time since those can be moved from one computer to the next. I've used the same G15 since pretty much the thing came out, and I've had 3 logitech mice in my life as a gamer so far. If you can afford it start with a generic non-gaming keyboard you dont hate and get a logitech g5 (the blue one), it's a great mouse and I used it for years. I still have it for my backup computer. Then over time you can add in a quality headset like the AD700 or HD555, and then a soundcard like a good non-overdone X-Fi and after that a gaming keyboard. Link to comment
