Oh, and it's rare because it was a recalled game. The reason why it sells for so much, in this case at least, is because it's factory sealed. Probably one of a kind in that respect. A previous cart/box sold for 13k.

I had a feeling it was fake, so what is he doing? Does he just make another account to raise the bid so he is essentially buying it from himself? How lame.

 

 

I also found out about how rare it is by pulling up its wiki page. Yeah, less than 100 copies reached consumers before they recalled it, there are only 2 left that are factory sealed supposedly.
