That's when the problem started happening. I thought maybe bringing it back upstairs like it was would solve the problem, and it didn't. And other games wich require an internet connection besides source ? Lol'd Tink. Acually that could be but he said he checked his cables and shit. =/ And no, I can play Counter Strike - Condition Zero perfectly. Just source games. Gmod, CS:S, TF2. Link to comment

Let me unplug it tonight before going to sleep and try again tomorrow afternoon. Maybe a longer restart is needed. unplugging it, is not a hard reset, there is a little tiny hole in the back of your router, while the router is on, get a pencil/pen and insert it, pressing the button down for 10 seconds will restore it to its original facotry settings, if your router was supplied by the ISP it will have the login infoamtion already hardwired into the router, if not, then you have to reconfigure it with login details provided by your ISP, this is usually found on the welcome letter you recieved when signing up to your ISP, if you cant find it, contact your ISP helpline phone number. you will posible need your credit/debit card which you pay your internet with to verify your account. try that. 1 Link to comment

Nishok Posted March 8, 2010 Content Count: 3178 Joined: 08/06/08 Status: Offline Share Posted March 8, 2010 Toxin, try reinstalling 1 small source game that you have. If that doesn't work, then do the following: 1) Go to: X:\Program Files\Steam 2) Delete everything except steam.exe and your steamapps folder 3) Start steam.exe (DO NOT use a shortcut. Use the steam.exe from the steamfolder) 4) Wait for steam to reinstall (Don't worry, your games are still installed, it is only steam and whatnot that gets reinstalled) 5) Test your source games and let us know if that worked. 1 Link to comment

That sounds the most reasonable so far... Going to try that tomorrow. Link to comment
