Monitor falls asleep, very annoying :(

Hey guys,

 

If i don't move my mouse once in 20 minutes, my monitor is going into "Sleeping Mod".

This is very annoying when i'm watching anime or a movie. I want to make the monitor stay 'asleep' but can't find any way to do this, i looked everywhere.

 

I have a LG Flatron W2261VP 21.5" screen.

 

Hopefully somebody can help me.

its not ur monitor that does that:)

 

Go to your control panel then click on power management , then click on Power Schemes , look down and you'll see turn off monitor select "never".

If you're using Windows 7:

 

Control Panel -> Power Options -> Change Plan Settings

Shuold be a simple fix. just go to power options in control panel

Nope, done those things already, it has something to do with my monitor itself.

It's not my pc going into sleeping mod and i have Windows Vista Ultimate 32-Bit

 

 

EDIT: Found it! My Monitormenu had a very small submenu with "Sleep", i looked and it stood on "20 min.", now tested that and i won't happen again whiiii (happy as hell, now i can watch from my bed without having to stand up to move my mouse every 20 mins)
