You can close the tunnel doors behind you, it just takes a little skill, if people are spread out then that would make it easier to kill them, just because you hear the shot doesn't mean you know who did it, I don't see people find traitors by weapon that often for it to be a problem, try to kill the detective first even if it gets you killed so its easier for your teammates, any other arguements I can counter.
