AoS.Cameron Posted March 30, 2010 Content Count: 270 Joined: 01/21/10 Status: Offline Share Posted March 30, 2010 Well, my internet has recently been having connection spikes every now and then. Right now it is running fine but sometime later today I usually experience it and it takes around 5~10 minutes to load one page. I use a wired internet connection and I have had this modem for about a year and I reset it about a month ago. Does someone know why? Link to comment

My modem was in a small space, and it turned out it was overheating O_O I have it in the open and I have not disconnected since I moved it. Link to comment

And I still have some problems. Call your internet provider to help you. Good Luck. You gonna need it. Link to comment

Firstly, confirm with other members of family who use the computer as to what they are doing during these hours of lag spikes ( E.g. Brother is downloading a gig of porn) etc. Then move on to suggestions above. Link to comment
