Firefox 3 Beta 4 Internet Explorer has joined in on the action with version 8 Beta 1. It is very much improved, having standard features even greater than Firefox along with much needed increase in speed. IE8 Beta 1 I will still be using older versions until official releases are out, but I've given the Beta's a try. I take no sides in the browser war as I still use both daily. FF is faster, but IE is more stable for certain things, IMO. Link to comment

Had the same problem and it fixed it. http://port25.technet.com/pages/windows-media-player-firefox-plugin-download.aspx Link to comment

Veggie Posted April 6, 2008 Content Count: 4123 Joined: 05/20/07 Status: Offline Share Posted April 6, 2008 (edited) Beta 5 is even faster now and has the new parallels that IE 8 beta 1 was sporting (Higher http max open connections). The final version of Firefox 3 will be released in june. Spider Javascript speed test puts Firefox 3 Beta 5 as the fastest browser available to date, beating Opera, IE 8 Beta 1 etc. You can update either way Edited April 6, 2008 by Veggie edit Link to comment

My beef with IE was that it got too damn slow for some reason, but hopefully the beta fixes it. Link to comment
