because it puts out fires so you won't be able to cook anything in your house for a while since pure oxygen makes it harder to start combustion

Please tell me that was sarcasm.

It's really more an epeen thing than anything else. You need to waterproof EVERYTHING even with mineral oil, and there's really not much that's as good a conductor of heat as water that wont also be a pain in the ass or damage your rig.

Uhm.... Correct me if I'm wrong here, but isn't water-cooling systems 100 x better than air-cooled??

:heh:

Consider yourself corrected. Both cooling styles have advantages and disadvantages. 100x better is just a laughable statement.

No case ftw :p

I do have a watercooling (cpu only) setup that I bought for my PC, but I put it on my home server :p

The home server comp does video converting a lot. I decided to OC, so I switch my watercooling (from my old/parents and siblings current) to that.

My current PC (xeon 3440, 5750) doesn't have watercooling though, thinking about getting something for the CPU, and possibly the graphics card. Wasn't sure if I should get a GPU block though...
