Couldn't CRC Map

Hello,

 

This problem started happening to me not that long ago. I tried to go on the ZM server and when a map downloaded, i got an error that said, "Couldn't CRC Map [insert Map Name Here]; Disconnecting" or something along those lines. I then made a dumb decision by deleting all the maps I downloaded and when I tried to go back to the server, I still got the same error. I tried the other servers and I still got the same error.

 

Help will be very appreciated.

Is there a list I can get that has all the maps on the servers or do I have to use my memory?

well there used to be a list, but now you prolly need to rely on your memory:(

EDIT: I tried another server, downloaded the map from there, and its all good now. No CRC error.

Try to delete AppUpdateStats.blob & ClientRegistry.blob from ur steam folder, that should work, what it does, it removes any recent updates from Steam, so if you remvoe those files, Steam will think that there are no updates installed so it would install new updates, that would do the trick supposedly

did you check the link, artimus, cuz for me the link is offline
