Ipad, Wait for version 2.0

i wont get into a mac vs pc debate , but from what i gather the ipad is lacking a great deal of things that would make it something more then just a big iphone or ipod

Macs can now support CS/other source engine games.

 

Valve is bringing them to OSX.

 

Also, the iPad is not good IMO

Israel just banned the import of 'American' iPads and is confiscating them at border control. I kinda lold... it has something to do with european wifi vs american wifi signals iirc.

OH WOW, I would love to pay almost $3000+!!! for apples first quad core computer, when i could build a pc with a quad core for under $800 that would demolish the mac. WHAT A STEALL!!!!

Yes in a lot of cases they are overpriced.. but not all cases. Nor are all Apple products useless. I'm not a Mac fan as is probably well known at this point, however I would never go as far as to make a blanket statement that is as stupid as the one you just did.

 

This thread isn't mac vs. pc it's about the iPad in specific.

Ok.. so I got a chance to play with one.. and guess what.. a large number of the apps/games for the iPod touch aren't designed to work with the iPad's screen so you get an iPod touch sized window in the corner of your iPad and can play in that little window..

 

Kinda defeats the purpose of the larger screen.

 

Hopefully they will update/fix them soon to support the bigger screen. Just another reason to wait.. that is if you've bought into the hype and still want one for one reason or another.
