How are you plugging your mic in? I tried finding out about this but I couldn't find out anything about my drivers. The sound works it's just very low so....I would assume it's installed Link to comment

Caution Posted April 19, 2010 Content Count: 11501 Joined: 10/19/08 Status: Offline Share Posted April 19, 2010 I may have a solution for you (it worked for me, at least). I had the same problem, my mic was really low in game, until I did this - Go into Steam >File >Settings >Voice and adjust it to a lot higher than what it is, and make sure your microphone is properly added. Hope this helps, it helped me out =]. Also, make sure that you don't have a webcam plugged in that may be taking the spot of your microphone (probably not it, I know, but it's worth a shot). 1 Link to comment

Also, make sure that you don't have a webcam plugged in that may be taking the spot of your microphone (probably not it, I know, but it's worth a shot). In the past when I've had a webcam plugged in I've still been able to talk with my mic, but unless I'm on Stickam I don't have it plugged in.
