I have shitty as fuck internet. My ping breaks 700 daily. I was wondering if theres any configs or something I could set so that my ping doesn't go that high?

EDIT: If it was good then thats at the current time. Frequently I get 10 minute lag spikes where its just horrid.

from the test its more a software problem, ie the game, firewall, AV or some other programme that requiers a internet connection.

 

go to task manager, and tale a screenshot of all your current active processes

Thats with the game and vent running so theres no confusion

well 67 processes is alot, seems your AVg anti virus is using quite a few there, you can shut down itunes unless you are using it as music, you can kill your apple ipod addon if necessary, and you are on vista, so the next question is are you on wireless internet or not?
