I personally have only bought AMD processors and they have all be really good to me. AMDs from what I have seen are usually better and much cheaper than Intel. So when I plan on my next rig I will have to look at this one if something better hasnt come out. Link to comment
Jager Posted April 28, 2010 Content Count: 1300 Joined: 06/24/07 Status: Offline Share Posted April 28, 2010 if you read the review unless you are into heavy video editing and or multi threaded applications the 4 core intel i series are beating this 6 core. so while I am not saying dont buy AMD, but think logically and do some research read the reviews and pick your chips based on what you do most and is the most bang for your buck. if all you do is game a dual or quad core is overkill, a 6 core is bragging rights, but rarely will you activate 4 cores in gaming, much less 6. new games may be multi threading capable which renders this argument moot, but until then its nice pc bling, not gaming zomg must have. Id take an i7 over this...Id like to see both of them benched... since that thing isnt even comparable to the 6 cores of intel... For the price yeah why not..but like I said Id get the i7 over that one so even for the price id still not get it... Link to comment
