Just get something with +4GB of RAM, a decent dual core around 2.00ghz, and then take out the hard drive and add a SSD, or find a laptop that offers a second hard drive bay so you can keep both. An SSD will cut down significantly on app-loading and boot times.

But they are quite expensive. SSDs that is.
