Reg before Mem?

So basically, when you apply, you get the status that you should have when you apply?

 

Like, say I never applied, and I had over 100 posts when I did apply. Would I start as a reg or a mem?

A few wierd things can happen if you get people with odd combinations of postcount, join date, and application date. I leapfrogged almost straight to HG because I'd already been here for 2 years and had near the postcount requirement when I applied.

Okay, but did they have vBulletin that year? They might have wanted people just to apply for Reg status since it would have been easier than applying for Mem status...
