never buy a logitech headset they are complete garbage.(coming from a logitech keyboard and mouse fanboy)

if i had to suggest a headset either go with

razer carcharias

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826153043

or something by Sennheiser

Razer headset is built like crap

The G35 is sort of comfortable according to reviews all the other ones are painful after little time..

The build quality is good though its just that to put 7 speakers in one headset is retarded because you MUST put shit quality speakers to 1) fit them all in 2) keep the price decent.. Imagine a 70-100 dollar headphones with one speaker... and $100 headset with 7 or 8 speakers..what do you expect the quality to be???

Im just using logic here..

And im not even gonna go where 7.1 channel in a ear cup is next to impossible to reproduce...

Idc what pro gamer use... where did you get that "fact" anyway....

Ever been told that %80 of all statistics are made on the spot??

I see what you did there.

What you might want to look at is some Grados too

the SR60i's are pretty good, and can be found for a good price too, at about 70 to 80 USD.

headsets have 6 deciding factors on wheter or not you will buy them:

Good sound

Good mic

Reasonable price

Comfort

Durability

Sound cancellation

The razer carcharias fill 5/6 slots especially with his price range, as long as your not throwing your headset across the room and smashing it with your foot you shouldn't have a problem with the durability of razer headsets

I use Turtle Beach PX21's. I bought them for both CSS and CoD / BF on my PS3 and 360 when I get it. It has a very nice sounding mic and great sound quality with comfortable ear cups.

have you ever used them?

nuff said

Why would I?

Overpriced because of an overhyped brand? Check.

Terrible quality? Check

You're better off with something like Sennheiser than Razer.
