Rejoining

Ok, so I'm noticing that a lot of people on Fly are quitting and rejoining just to renominate after they had previously rtv'ed. Is this against the rules? Because I know that it can be bad for the server.

well in that situation the player might have changed his mind on the map he wanted to play, so he rejoins, nominates again, and rtvs, I see no harm, and I have no idea how it can harm the server :o

Idk, I just say that cause for me, sometimes it lags, just looking out and seeing what the rules are. Thanks ;D

That's your computer then. There's no difference between someone retrying and him leaving and someone else joining.

 

As the other thread pointed out it's a harmless way of changing your nomination. Even I've done it on occasion do to accidentally voting for something abominable. As long as they aren't spamming it (effectively attempting to flood the server) it's all good.
