Let the game developers who specifically design their games to run with Nvidia tell me that.

 

Once again, I said personal preference.

 

I wasn't bashing Nvidia or rooting for ATI.

Sorry last few questions - will i kill myself swapping in the PSU, im familiar with the inside of a pc but never touched the psu before.

 

Why is there different types of the 5770 e.g. sapphire, asus, gigabyte.

It's just each companies spin on the technology of each graphics card, specs may be slightly different, fans may be different, etc.

It's not 2004 anymore. PhysX is almost dead, ATI has better performance per dollar, and Nvidia is better for the very high end, think 5870, 5970, GTX480, GTX495 (when it comes)

 

No games are ever designed to run specifically run with nivida.

Most of those are older games, most newer games do not have "the way it's meant to be played" anywhere on/in them.

 

What nvidia has done since the 8000 series people have not liked. They have rebranded so many cards, meaning that ATI has picked up in market share, as people wanted new cards, not older rebrands. They also just lost a big time partner BFG. It is no longer aboot what GPU manufacturer your card is, but which GPU is better.

The PSU is simple to take out/ put in the new one. just unplug the cords and match them up with the new PSU.

 

As for teh different typees of 5770, different manufactures use there own settings on the card. The 5770 that i got is sapphire, because they are a reputable brand that i have seen many good reviews for.
