It doesn't really run that hot, once you get ample cooling.. which you should do regardless of how warm something runs. I'll post pictures later today, including some of the card close up so you can see it. Idk about other brands, but EVGA learned from the 295 that these cards run crazy hot, so they put a gigantic (4-6 inch) heatsink over the whole card, and then a heatsink over the chip with big ass heat pipes coming off of it. I take it back. After finally playing some rather graphics-taxing games for hours yesterday, i can tell that these cards run so hot they're designed to run at 90C lol, its quite ridiculous. If i ever hope to OC this thing, im going to have to shell out the cash for a spitfire from thermalright or something. Link to comment
