If you have already run the Troubleshooting Wizard, you might want to check the hardware documentation for more information about diagnosing the problem. Not sure how helpful that is, but that exceeds my limited knowledge of USB headsets >_> Link to comment

As I first stated, the driver is too old, and Microsoft went through and marked very old/very conflicting (written for xp that wont work/will BSOD in 7) and forcefully hardcoded a block for the specific software version and its installer (happend to me when i first tried to install my old copy of Alcohol 120) 2. Possibly some service isnt running, but i seriously doubt this since its straight up not allowing the installation. 3. Its broked. Link to comment
Paul Posted May 19, 2010 Content Count: 6804 Joined: 11/06/07 Status: Offline Share Posted May 19, 2010 I've contacted Logitech support. Waiting on a response. When my G5 broke I contacted them and they sent me a free G500 (£50) without any questions. Ask for a different headset from them if this is the second time its happened (g35s ftw) Link to comment
