When my G5 broke I contacted them and they sent me a free G500 (£50) without any questions. Ask for a different headset from them if this is the second time its happened (g35s ftw)

So you could basically just bluff your way to getting a new bit of hardware? Without showing proof of purchase?

Use a different USB slot. Blow on the connection ports (you never know, works for N64)

Tried about 7 differen't USB ports..thing is totally fluffed. Waiting on an email back from them :)

I guess so. LVG did, I was reading a forum where they asked the person to cut the usb end off and post it to them. But they didnt ask me to do that.

That shit was so well built ... Must be a cousin to Nokia 3310..

I have a creative fatality USB as well.. Works like a charm, I believe..

they do that if they suspect you trying to gyp them. overall they are a shining example of customer service. you can indeed tell them something is wrong with it (even if its minor.. make sure to do your research and find a very common issue), and then youll have both.

Well I sent several screenshots of the problem to them and I presume it probably happens with a lot of the headsets considering it happened to me before. Still waiting on a response though :(

Audio Technica AD700

A lot of the audiophiles over at OCN recommend these. I'm thinking of picking up a pair myself.

As for my headset (Creative MKII,) I've had them for over 6 months now, and haven't had any problems. I've used them almost every day since I got them. The only issue I have come across with them is that the bass isn't that good. It makes this weird thud kind of sound whenever it encounters really low frequencies. I honestly don't mind it too much, but it can be a real problem if you're an audiophile.
