I see it as coming down to whether or not he is ever going to actually use it. Link to comment

I first read you came on the camera, so nobody wanted it; had to do a double take. 1 Link to comment

Chobber Posted May 29, 2010 Content Count: 2186 Joined: 05/07/08 Status: Offline Share Posted May 29, 2010 I believe most "non-recent" photoshops might have a darkroom / chamber and the knowledge you would need to get the shots when you have the raw-film.. Also, maybe, if you have a college or some sort of artschool nearby, they might have a darkroom as well and might even do it for free? Also, if you need any detailed help I believe these guys can help you for free: http://www.photozo.com/forum/portal.php I was registered there some years ago and they seem to know nearly everything about photography and cameras.. I would, sadly, believe that the camera is not $1000 worth now as it comes from the era where the massproduction of cameras started.. Not at all in the same scale as we see today, but around that time it became payable to everyone (well, 'cept the smug of the society ).. So I would say stick with it as a great memory of your granddad.. My granddad left my a camera much alike this one, lemme see if I can find a pic.. Link to comment

This sounds like an excellent plan. I believe I have an "old as fuck" camera stored away somewhere. hmmm... Link to comment
