Hmm, this could be quite useful, my average FPS on big maps like lotro is like 100, but my gcard can't handle fire for some reason... It drops to like 10/15 lol

Well, if you already have a half-good desktop, it's not going to make THAT MUCH of a difference. But, apparently it really helps for laptops and for instability and incompatibility problems.

 

My computer ain't great, trust me.

 

I'll try it again soon to see if it has any more of an effect.

Programs like this rely on people not knowing wtf they're talking about. This is the same as going Ctrl-Alt-Del and going to the processes tab to get rid of a hanfull of those 0 CPU % usage and ~200kilobyte processes that are actually pretty important for some things to work right and will just get restarted automatically in a minute or two anyway.
